Double Door
The Fortress Double Door Hinged Pillars are robust enclosures providing electrical services for a variety of applications. The pillars incorporate a high level of corrosion proofing to ensure durability and a long maintenance free life. The range is available in a variety of sizes to meet most applications.
The pillar sizes are also offered in three material finishes. We can provide a high quality painted finish or hot dipped galvanising or both, together with an ingress protection up to IP65. We can now also offer stainless steel as a material treated and painted grey as standard.
Double Door Pillars Features
- Two or three hinged doors
- Long life hinges are manufactured from solid stainless steel blocks on all versions
- Two Lucy Lighting T key wedge locks for added security
- 18mm thick backboard, made using treated exterior grade plywood
- Danger warning label fitted as standard
- The earth lead connection is supplied from the pillar body to the door
- HDP and STP are powder coat painted in Grey (BS 4800.18B25) as standard
- High quality UV resistant paint used with a minimum thickness of 60 microns
- Door seal up to IP65
- No fixed bar between doors gives totally open access for installing equipment
- Detachable roof
- Backboard can be removed for wiring
- Detachable root section HDG and finished in bitumen enriched paint
