Mini Pillars

The Fortress Mini Pillars have been designed as robust and effective enclosures to provide electrical services for a variety of applications. The pillars incorporate a high level of corrosion proofing to ensure durability and a long maintenance free life.

The Mini pillar range is available in 7 sizes to meet most applications for the smaller installation. The 7 pillars sizes are also available in two material finishes:

  • HDG - sheet steel which is hot dip galvanised to BS 729
  • HDP - sheet steel which is hot dip galvanised to BS 729 and then treated and painted as standard in grey
Options
  • Mini pillars can be supplied pre-wired with a Fuse Unit or Isolator Unit
  • Additional colours are available to special order
  • G2A Highways paint specification
  • Different locking options are available including Lucy locks, Yale Locks, HASP and Staple
  • Special labels to identify ownership
Key features
  • The pillars have a removable door
  • Two tri-head locks are fitted as standard - anti vandal locks are also available
  • 18mm thick backboard, made using treated exterior grade plywood
  • Danger warning labels fitted as standard
  • The earth lead connection is supplied from the pillar body to the door
  • High quality UV resistant paint used with a minimum thickness of 60 microns
  • Fixing bolts, nuts, washers and locks are all stainless steel
  • Backboard can be removed for wiring
